Lynnette Lux, 62, of Willseyville, NY, passed away on December 18, 2024. Born and raised in Elmira, NY, she was the daughter of Bruce M. Lux and Edwina Inman. Lynnette attended Elmira Free Academy before marrying David Palmieri and enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, where she served as a Food Service Specialist from 1984 to 1985.
After her military service, Lynnette returned home to raise her two children, Joshua and Lhinzi, navigating life as a devoted single mother. Together, Lynnette and Alan built a beautiful life and spent 30 cherished years raising their children as a family.
Lynnette was predeceased by her father, Bruce Lux; her grandparents, Albert and Erma Inman; and her aunts, Betsy Selover and Rebecca Sundquist-Lux. She is survived by her children, Joshua Palmieri, Lhinzi Barnes, and Michael Shepardson; her life partner, Alan Shepardson; her mother and stepfather, Edwina and Edward Monroe; and countless friends who admired her gentle and compassionate spirit.
Known for her kind heart and devotion to both her family and her beloved animals, Lynnette touched the lives of all who knew her. Her love extended to every creature with fur, feathers, or scales. She will be lovingly remembered, Always and Forever.
