Lucille Faville Kullman

June 10, 1920 — November 18, 2016

Lucille Kullman rejoined her beloved husband Stanley on 11/18/16. Their brief years apart are now ended for all time.

Lucille was born June 10, 1920 in Columbia Crossroads, PA to Mark and Alta Hammond Faville. She had two sisters and a brother, all of whom preceded her in death. She moved with her family at a young age to Bergen, NY where Lucy graduated from Bergen High School in 1938. She attended SUNY Albany where she met an Albany boy, fell in love, married, and became a wartime mother and homemaker while Stan served in the US Navy.

Following the war, Lucy and Stan lived in Central New York, settling permanently in McGraw in 1955 where they raised their three children. Lucy loved her house and gardens in McGraw, and she and Stan dedicated untold hours and energy making it a warm and comfortable home. Lucy returned to SUNY Cortland and finished her college education in 1969, whereupon she became an elementary school teacher at McGraw Central School until her retirement. She was active in the McGraw Methodist Church and the McGraw Historical Society. She was a wonderful mother, a loving wife, an avid gardener, a serious bridge player, and an enthusiastic antique collector.

In addition to her three children Stanley Jr (Martie) of Harvest, AL, Brian (Margie) of Canadian Lakes, MI and Peoria, AZ, and Catherine (Ken Paddock) of Dryden, NY., Lucy is survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Her family would like to express their appreciation to Walden Place in Cortland where Lucy and Stan spent their final years together, and to Dr. Jander and the entire staff at Bridges Cornell Heights in Ithaca, where Lucy lived until the end, for their wonderful care and support.

Private services will be held at a later date.
