Luanne Tagliavento Libraro

Luanne Tagliavento Libraro, 67, of Sheraton Dr., Ithaca, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. She was born in Ithaca, daughter of the late Louis and Bettina Lanning Tagliavento. She was a graduate of Ithaca High School and had worked at various local businesses prior to her retirement.

Luanne is survived by her sons, Matthew (Maria) Hughes and Peter (Karen) Hughes; her grandsons, Justin and Ryan Hughes; her step children, Phillip and Lisa Libraro and her sisters, Sonya Franciamone, Judy Rae Richards and Michele Tagliavento. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Gino and Frank Franciamone, Louis R. Tagliavento, Jeannine Sorrell and Crystal Casselberry; her former husband, Peter Hughes; special brother-in-law, Robert Franciamone; her dear friends, Doris White and Dick and Shirley Inman and aunts, uncles, cousins and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Luanne was also predeceased by her husband, Frank Libraro.

A celebration of Luanne's life will be held this summer and will be announced. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made the Ithaca Lacrosse Program, c/o Frank Welch 114 E.
