Lois A. Epstein, ("Bubby"), 83, of Newfield, NY, passed away at Robert Packer Hospital September 23, 2016. Lois was born April 23, 1933 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Ida and Abe Bornstein.
Lois will be lovingly remembered as a thoughtful, generous person, best remembered for her hilarious sense of humor and love for family.
Survivors include daughters Audrey Epstein of New York City, Jill Epstein Green (David) and granddaughter Mackenzie Green of Newfield, NY, brother Marvin T. Bornstein (Iris) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, nephews and nieces.
A private burial will be held Monday at Trumbulls Corners Cemetery. An open house/celebration of life will be held at the home of Jill Green Wednesday, September 28 from 3:00 - 7:00; friends of Lois and the Greens are welcome.
Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family via Jill Green, 597 Millard Hill Road, Newfield, NY, 14867. Memorial donations in Lois' name may be made to the Newfield Community Good Neighbor Fund, P.O. Box 311, Newfield, NY 14867. Bangs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
