Lois Ann Bannister

Lois Ann Bannister, 98, of Comfort Rd., Danby, NY, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the Beechtree Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Josephine Stafford Selby and was a retired social worker.

Lois is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Palmer with whom she lived; her son, Don Short, Jr. (Diane) and her grandsons, Barry Palmer (Danielle Scharf), Isaac Palmer (Michelle Locker) and Reid Palmer.

In keeping with Lois’ wishes there will be no public services. Donations in her memory may be made to the Family Reading Partnership, 54 Gunderman Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850.
