Linda Spencer Lynch, 77, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Cayuga Ridge Nursing Facility. She was born in Ithaca daughter of the late Robert and Betty Jean VanDeKar Spencer and was the widow of Herman Lynch.
Linda and her family had owned and operated K&H Redemption on W. State St. for many years. She was mother to countless local kids and a renowned cook and baker. She was always the “go to” person with a quick wit and an unpredictable sense of humor.
Linda is survived by her sister, Patricia (Richard) Eicheldinger; her brother, Robert (Lisa) Spencer; her children, William Lynch, Shane (Shannon) Lynch, Scott (Amanda) Lynch and Shannon Lynch and her long time best friend, Debra Anderson. She is also survived by her grandsons, Keegan and Gabriel Lynch who will always be Ninna’s boys, numerous other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, a large circle of extended family and friends in the Ithaca and Buffalo areas and her dog, Buttons and cat, Puss N Boots.
Graveside services will be held at the Calvary Cemetery in the spring and will be announced. In lieu of flowers donations in Linda’s memory may be made to the Tompkins County SPCA.
