Leland (Lee) B. Snow

Lee Snow, a loving father and grandfather and longtime resident of Ithaca passed away peacefully in his home on December 3rd, 2023 at the age of 96. Lee who was born on October 26,1927 was the eleventh of twelve children born to Simon Van Wagner Snow and Jennie Louise Beach Snow. He was predeceased by his wife Linda Kanellis Snow, his parents, and 11 siblings.

Lee began as a water well driller with his brother and father. Later he turned to building custom homes in Ithaca during the 60's, 70's and 80's. He could build and fix most anything. He had a love of the water, Martha's Vineyard, clamming, and most importantly his family.

He is survived by his children Pamela Snow Albanese (Mike), Kimberly L. Snow, grandchildren Candace L. Albanese, A.J. Albanese (Kelsey), Kevin Ladd (Eli), great grandchildren Courtney Cullen, (Greg), Samantha Piccirilli, Matthew Piccirilli, great great grandchildren Brooklynn Cullen, Blakely Cullen. And many nieces and nephews.

Burial will take place at 11:15 on Saturday, December 16th at East Lawn Cemetery in Ithaca. A Celebration of Life will follow at the VFW on State Street in Ithaca.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Office of the Aging in Ithaca or Martha's Vineyard Shellfish Group.
