Laura Smithers

Laura C.M. Smithers, 89, of 1028 Ellis Hollow Road, Ithaca, died Wednesday April 1, 2015 at Cayuga Medical Center. Born in Erin, Pa. daughter of the late Charles and Florence Corey.

Laura retired after many years from the Super Duper Grocery store.

Survivors include her son: Charles (Katherine) Smithers of Ithaca, granddaughter: Michele Smithers and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services in King Cemetery will be held in May with Rev. Dale Ford officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Laura's memory may be made to either the S.P.C.A or the Salvation Army. Bangs Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements
