Kevin Michael Snyder

Kevin Michael Snyder, 50 of Lansing, New York passed away peacefully on Sunday July 19, 2015 surrounded by his family after courageously battling kidney disease.

He was born on October 7, 1964 in Ithaca, New York. Kevin was a lifetime resident of Lansing and a graduate of Lansing High School in 1982. He received his Bachelor of Science from The College of Brockport - State University of New York in 1986.

Kevin was an accomplished financial executive and spent his professional career working for several companies in the Ithaca/Cortland area. He was dedicated to his community and volunteered with several charity and non-profit organizations. He was also a member of All Saint's Catholic Church in Lansing.

Most significantly he was a loving father, husband, brother, son, grandson, nephew and friend. He will be greatly missed as he touched many lives. He enjoyed sports, music, good food, family and friends. He was an individual that put the needs and concerns of others ahead of his own.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Kehoe), two daughters, Kennedy and Farren, and dog Buddy, of Lansing; his parents, Norman Sr. and Joanne Snyder of Lansing; his brothers, Norman Jr. (Michaela) of Wilton, CT; Scott (Sue) of Austin, Texas; and Deron (Karen) of Moravia; as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews and a large extended family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jeffrey Tunnicliff on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 10 am at the Immaculate Conception Church. Friends may call on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 3 to 6 pm at the Bangs Funeral Home.
