Kevin A. Lelik

Kevin A. Lelik, 63, of Ithaca NY passed away on December 30th 2023 in the comfort of his home following his brief battle with cancer.

Kevin was born on October 23 1960 to Kathleen McCarthy and William J. Lelik at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca NY. After attending Ithaca High School he went on to join the Plumbers and Steamfitters union (now local 81). Kevin excelled at his trade and was even an apprenticeship teacher where he taught and inspired many of the active members today. He was able to retire comfortably from local 81 and pursue his other hobbies and passions.

Kevin was a passionate outdoorsmen and loved hunting, fishing, and camping with friends and family. He was also an Avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed riding and going to events such as the Harley Rendezvous and Sturgis. He will be remembered for his quick wit and great sense of humor.

Kevin is Predeceased by his mother Kathleen Hallen (McCarthy), sister Tammy Martellaro, brother William (Billy) Lelik. Kevin is survived by his wife of 38 years Maxine Lelik, father William J. Lelik, Children Kevin jr. and Kyle Lelik, siblings Patricia DeJoseph, Mark and Eric Lelik, grandchildren Grace, Alex, and Sophia Lelik, Closest friends Timothy White, Marcus Alger, his faithful dog Walder.

Calling hours will be Saturday January 20th 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Bangs Funeral Home 209 W. Green st. Ithaca NY followed by a celebration of life at 3:00 pm at the Moose Lodge Ithaca.
