Kathleen Julia Leonardo, of Ithaca, passed away quietly Sunday, September 17. She lived most of her life in Ithaca. She graduated from West Genesee High School in Camillus and worked at Tompkins County Airport and Cornell University. Kathleen enjoyed gardening, caring for her aunt and making grilled cheese sandwiches for her nephew.

She is survived by her aunt Julia Kennedy; her sisters, Joann Rose of Lansing, Nancy Iacovelli of Ithaca, and Janette (Allen) Smith of Grand Rapids, Mich.; Brother Francis V. Cammuso (Ngoc Huynh) of Syracuse; cousin, Josephine Jaynes of Ithaca; nephews Khai Cammuso, Timothy Mavros, Robert Rose, and Jonathan Drake of Florida; nieces Mindy Wiiki of Texas, Julie Rose, Paula Johns of Florida.

There will be no services or calling hours. A celebration of her life and burial will take place at the convenience of the family at Calvary Cemetery in Ithaca, NY. Her family is grateful for the warmth and kindness from the Hospicare and Palliative Services. Contributions may be made to Hospicare and Palliative Services of Ithaca.
