John E. Marqullan Jr.

Jack was born on March 27, 1945 in Riverside, CA and passed away
unexpectedly at home on Saturday, August 27,2016. He was a graduate of
Ithaca High School in 1963. He moved to California where he spent five years
working for the Navy and then went on to own his own auto repair shop. In
1985, he relocated back to Ithaca. At 40, Jack decided to pursue a life-long
goal of attending college. He enrolled at TC3 and excelled in his courses. He
went on to earn his Associate's degree and then earned his Bachelor's from
SUNY Utica.

Jack was an honest and hardworking and took great pride in his ability to fix
everything. He was dependable and loyal. He always said - measure twice and
cut once.

He spent his time in the Maintenance department at Maguire Ford where he
worked for over 30 years. Jack considered retirement; however wasn't ready
to slow down.


Jack is survived by his loving mother, Jeanette A. Gibbs; his daughter, Laura
Marqullan; his sister. Patricia Winn (Greg Lee); his brother and sister-in-law Bardwell and Rose Gibbs; nieces Rachel Barb (Sam) and Pamela Francassi
(Vinny), nephew, Zachary Winn, and a great-nephew and great-neice.
Jack was predeceased by one of his personal champions, his stepfather, Robert R. Gibbs.

The immediate family will hold a private memorial and celebration of life at the
convenience of the family.
