Johanna Mancini

Johanna M. (Hubert) Mancini, 99, of Newfield, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 21,2018. She was born in Callicoon, New York on November 24,1918 to the late Caroline Koenig and Fred Hubert.

Johanna married Earland Mancini on June 5,1948 in Sayre,PA. After retirement, they travelled back and forth from Arizona to the Ithaca area, before settling in Newfield to stay close to their family. Johanna was a sweet and generous person, one of which we will never forget.

Johanna is predeceased by her Parents, Fred and Carrie. Three brothers, Walter, August, and Fred. Two sisters, Gertrude Abplanalp, and Eva Corigliano. Her son Joel in 2002, and her Husband Earland in 2012.

She is survived by her Daughter in law Sharry Mancini. Three Granddaughters, Alaina Mancini (Kyle Vanderpoel), Megan Mancini (Kris Westervelt), Angela (Joseph) Palanza. Four Great-Grandchildren, Kabrina Jayne, Alea Westervelt, Gabriella and Isabella Palanza. Brother in Law, Robert Mancini, Sister in Law, Judy Augustine, and several Nieces and Nephews.

Family and Friends are invited to the Calvary Cemetery in Ithaca for graveside services on Saturday, August 25th at 10AM. There are no calling hours.
