Jodi Humulock, 51, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 19, 2013 at the Cayuga Medical Center surrounded by her family, Husband, Mark, daughter, Nikki, brother, Rory and his wife, Debbie, her uncle, Jim and other dear friends.
Jodi started loving and caring for people as a nurse at the Willard Psychiatric Center alongside her mother, Betty, also an R.N. After 13 years and the closing of Willard, Jodi went on to care for people at the Beechtree Care Center where she worked for many years. Those who knew of Jodi's love and kindness loved her in return. They also knew that her passion for animals was second only to people.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 25th from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Bangs Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jodi's memory may be directed to the SPCA, 1640 Hanshaw Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850 or any other organization of your choosing that would benefit animals.
