Jesse David Siemon (42) was born May 22,1979 and passed away suddenly on January 7, 2022. He was the beloved son of Edward and Nancy Siemon .
He was raised in Ithaca, NY where his favorite memory was spending his summers enjoying swimming, canoeing, and fishing at their family cottage on Cayuga Lake. Jesse attended The Gow school in Buffalo, NY as well as Ithaca High School.
Jesse was survived by the mother of his children, Jaime Siemon and their four children- Branden Decker(Michaela) , Kailea Decker, Allie Siemon and Haylie Siemon. Jesse was a proud and loving Papa to his grandson Braedyn Decker. Jesse loved being a father and took immense pride in his children and their life’s endeavors and shared his love for each of them with anyone who would listen.
Jesse is also survived by his sister Nicole Turcsik (Roger) and his nieces and great nephews Laura (Brian) Moriarty (Mason & Asher), Shyan Bakos (Blake), and Aubrie Turcsik. He genuinely adored all of his extended family and in laws.
Jesse is predeceased by his birth parents Laura Bailey Holcomb and Roger Holcomb as well as his grandparents, and his favorite Aunt Grace.
Jesse was a lover of all animals, an avid fisherman and found his peace in nature and all that it entailed. His favorite pastime was finding the best fishing holes in the area. Jesse was a lover of all genres of music, specifically reggae, rock, and old school hip hop. He will be remembered as a kind hearted man with a contagious laugh. He had an up-to-something smirk that will never be forgotten.
Jesse took pride in his service in the U.S. Army National Guard. He was recently recognized for the ability to make others feel comfortable confiding in him, offering sound and beyond his years advice without judgement. Jesse was a wise, calm spirit with a wild side.
Jesse worked as a cook for the last 20 years and took pride in serving a delicious meal. Cooking food for others truly was his love language.
Jesse succumbed to his courageous battle with the disease of addiction that took him too soon. However he was passionately vocal about the lack of awareness and attention to mental health and addiction component while in recovery.
His family strongly encourages anyone struggling to reach out for help. Battling mental health is a daily struggle. You are worthy and never alone.

A separate service will be held in May, his birth month, near the lake where he found solace. Further details to be shared by his family.
He will truly be missed and we wish him to be remembered as a son, friend, brother,father and papa. He is now at peace. For that, we are as well, one day at a time.
