Jennie P. Morris

CICERO – Jennie P. Morris, 97, of Cicero, NY, and formerly of Ithaca, died on Tuesday, August, 27, 2019 at University Medical Center in Syracuse, NY.

Born in Buffalo, NY on August 30, 1921, Jennie was the daughter of the late Erma and Nicholas Parente.  She was married to the late William F. Morris for 33 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Fox of Newfield, NY, Karen Jones of Cicero, NY; her brother, Alfred (Janice) Parente of Ithaca, NY; her sisters, Rose Natal, Louise Morey of Moravia, NY; her grandchildren, Justin (Ashley) Fox of Freeville, NY, Joshua (Cassidy) Fox of Groton, NY, Bryant (Annie) Jones, Eric (Lindsay) Jones of Syracuse, NY; and she was Nana to her great grandchildren, Mason, Madison, Mikaela and Trevor Fox and Evan, Tahlia, Maria and Gino Jones; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Jennie was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a special friend to many.  She will be greatly missed by many.

Per her wishes, there will be no public calling hours.  A graveside service will be held at noon on Saturday, September, 21, 2019 in Calvary Cemetery on Floral Avenue in Ithaca.
