Mrs. Jean Pluck passed away at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY on January 31 at the age of 66. Jeanie is survived by her husband Ronald Pluck, and her children Jason and his wife Caroline, of California, and her daughter Carrie and her husband Howard of Trumansburg.
Jeannie was born on March 7, 1951 in Ithaca NY. She graduated Ithaca High School in 1970, and married Ronald Pluck on March 20, 1971 - the first day of spring. They went on to raise a beautiful family together, and she continued to care for many other children at her daycare program. She was an avid quilter and loved member of the community, and she will be greatly missed.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday February 9 at 1:00 at the Unitarian Church of Ithaca. (There are no calling hours). All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jeannie's life.
