Jay F. Stiles, Jr.

On July 9, 2022, Jay Franklin Stiles, Jr. passed away unexpectedly at his home in Lansing, NY. Born July 25, 1961 at Grandview Hospital in Sellersville, PA to Jay Franklin Stiles, Sr. and Jean Gallagher Stiles.

He attended Souderton, PA Area High School and Montco Technical School. He subsequently worked various construction jobs in the Philadelphia, Wilkes-Barre and Ithaca areas…until he was disabled in an automobile accident in November 2017.

He was predeceased by his parents and is survived by a son, Jay Torosian-Stiles of Maryland, one grandchild, two brothers, numerous cousins, and many close friends.

Jay was a warm and outgoing person who would strike up a conversation with whomever he met. He was the kind of neighbor you might find clearing snow from your driveway. He loved to help people and used to say that day wasn’t complete unless you could cause someone to smile. He would do the “above and beyond’ as a matter of routine. He is sorely missed by those of us who knew him.
