Janet Jacobson

Janet Jacobson, 70, of Seven Mile Dr., died Friday, January 4, 2013 following a short illness. She was born in Ithaca, daughter of the late Clarence and Jeannette Williams.
Janet is survived by her children, David (Corina) Jacobson, Rebecca (Rob) Billings and Glenn Jacobson; her grandchildren, Crystal, Jake, Sasha, Amanda, Amy and Zachary and great granddaughter, Elizabeth. She is also survived by her loving companion of 30 years, Donald Cacciotti and her sister, Gloria. In addition to her parents, Janet was also predeceased by her sister, Susan Hall and brother, William Williams.
Janet was a member of the Eagles and loved her morning trips with Don to Wegman's, Wal-Mart and local diners.
Private graveside services will be held at the Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oak Hill Manor Nursing Home, 602 Hudson St., Ithaca, NY 14850. Bangs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
