ITHACA - Hayden R. Brainard, Sr., 72, of 1401 Danby Road, Ithaca, died Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Cayuga Medical Center. Randy was the son of Annabelle Seamon and the late Fred Brainard. Randy is survived by his children Mike (Lynette) Brainard and Hayden R. (Sarah) Brainard, Jr.; stepchildren Sean Hein, Scott Hein (Dana), and Heather Hein; his mother Annabelle Seamon; three brothers, Jeff (Rose) Brainard, Paul Tunison and Leon (Patty) Tunison; two sisters, Elena Welch and Amy Cusimano; ten grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Randy was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Brainard in 2005. Friends may call Friday afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Bangs Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations in Randy's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
