Harold Jake Kanis, Jr.

Harold was born in Rochester NY where he lived until 2 years ago when he moved to Ithaca to Beechtree Nursing Home. He was always a hard working man his whole life.. He worked for the Coca Cola company for many years until he got a job with Eastman Kodak Company where he worked for 30 years

Harold married Agnes Pinkowski in 1961 and they spent 52 years together until she passed away in 2013

He loved his family.. friends and beer!.. He was the old school party type and enjoyed it immensely!!

Harold is survived by his Children.. Carol (Jean) Sorgi..Evelyn (Cornell) Chestnut..Roberto Vega..Richard (Clowey)Kanis ..His #1 April Zimmerman..and adopted daughter Laurie Hannah but her husband James Hannah is already in heaven.

Grandchildren: Thomas (Andrea Hook) McCallum Jr..Vaughn Winslow. .Joshua (Mike Glavich)Winslow...Taylor (Erin Elizabeth) Winslow. .Kyle(Hollis) Mcdouglas..Alex Mcdouglas..Makiah Mcdouglas...Tia Bird,Samantha Nicole murphy

Predeceased by sister Bernice Oneill, great granddaughter Anne Marie Murphy
