Glen Paul Evans

Glen Paul Evans, 60 passed away March 28, 2024.  He was born on November 14, 1963, the son of the late Arleathia Evans and Gerry Eastman.  Glen grew up in Ithaca and attended Ithaca High School where he played lacrosse.  He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.  Glen was well known for his positive outlook on life no matter what and known for his daily “good morning” text.  Above all, spending time with his family brought him the most joy.  He was a proud father and grandpa.

He was predeceased by his mother, Arleathia Evans.

Survived by his children:  Natalie (Johan Nunez) Evans of New York City and Javon Evans of Brooktondale; grandchildren: Lilly Evans, Mason Evans, Veda Giroux and Dominic Evans; grand pup, Presley Evans; Longtime Companion Sally Briggs; father, Gerry Eastman; brothers: Nelson (Cynthia) Evans, Gregory Evans and Paul Eastman; sisters, Maxine Evans, Sonya Jackson and Cassy Eastman; many aunts, uncles, cousin, nephews and nieces.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 4th at 1pm in Bangs Funeral Home.   The family will receive friends from noon to 1pm before the service.  The burial will be in South Hill Cemetery. Online at www.bangsfuneralhome.com
