Gerald L. Mcfall

Gerald L. "Jerry" McFall went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday June 27, 2015. Jerry was born
August 13, 1926 in Spencer, NY to the late Ola and Beatrice Lake McFall. Jerry was a member of
Tabernacle Baptist Church from 1957 till his passing, Jerry was also a dedicated Usher at Tab from
1957-2014. Jerry had an amazing work ethic that didn't start to slow down until his early 80's. Jerry
worked at Purity Ice Cream for fifty years, starting in 1954 to 2004. He also held down a part time job at
G.L.F. (Agway) for 25 years and ran a small farm and LARGE gardens all those same years, to keep his
family going. He loved his family and was an excellent provider. His dedication to hard work and
ethical values set the bar for his family which continues to this day. Jerry was a man of few words, but
when he spoke, value and wisdom were shared .His dry humor and wit put a smile on many a face. Jerry
was also never ashamed to share his testimony for his God and the hope within. Jerry was also an avid
hunter and gardener. While on hot summer days other family members would be in the pool, Jerry
would be tending the gardens as he enjoyed. Jerry is survived by his wife of 58 years Mildred McFall of
Danby, Children: Kenneth (Jill) McFall of Anaheim, CA .. Ronald (Dawn) McFall of Va. Beach Va. Cheryl
(Mark) Andrews of Danby, Step Children: Hope (George) Pichura of Johnson City, NY, Skip Morgan of
Lansing, NY also Brother: Daniel (Eileen) McFall of St. Cloud, Fla. Sister: Ellen(Bill) Carlisle of Enfield, NY,
9 grandchildren: Scott, Bryan, Holly, Darcy, Sabrina, Ethan, Ashley, Kristen, Becky and 22 great
grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was also pre-deceased by sisters: Velma Inman of Idaho,
Ona McFall of Ithaca brother: Rodrick McFall of Ithaca and a son: Roy (Duffy) McFall in 1953. Private
graveside services with Pastor Michael Paris will be held at East Lawn Cemetery . A celebration of
Jerry's life will be held Saturday July 18,2015 at 12:00 Noon at the Tabernacle Baptist Church. Friends
may call from 11:00 to 12:00 prior to the service. In lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made
to the Tabernacle Baptist Church 1019 N. Cayuga St. Ithaca, NY.
