Gary T. Lund, 62, of Ithaca, NY, died Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the Cayuga Medical Center. He was born in Virginia, MN, son of Barbara Joanne Jones, who survives him, and the late Harlow Lund.
Gary was retired from the United States Army after 22 years of service as an M.P. He served in Operation Desert Storm and had also been deployed to other areas around the world and spent several weeks at Ground Zero following the attacks of 9/11. He loved to cook.
In addition to his mother, Gary is survived by his wife of 35 years, Gloria Dale Lund; his son, Paul (Brittany) Lund; his grandchildren, Clark, Tanner and Savannah Lund; his mother-in-law, Clara Dale and his beloved dog, Rudy. In addition to his father, he was also predeceased by his brother, Don Lund.
