Frederick Goodwin

Frederick Goodwin, 85, died Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at his home. He was born in Buffalo, NY, son of the late William and Barbara Goodwin and was also predeceased by his grandson, Oran Cedric Magee II and his grandson, Micah Rafael Butikima   Fred was retired from N.Y.S.E.G. where he had worked as a lineman for 35 years. He loved working around his home and tending to his yard with his little red tractor. He loved being outside in his garage building things.   A loving and devoted husband, Fred is survived by his wife of 68 years, Barbara Ladd Goodwin; his daughter, Kathleen P. Moyer; sons, Frederick M. (Penny) Goodwin and William R. (Roxanne) Goodwin; his grandchildren, Samantha Miller, Elijah and Zachary Moyer, Melinda (Jeremy) Watson, Frederick (Kim) Goodwin, Johnathan Bohmer, Suzanne Audrey (Mercuri Butikima), Jennifer (Jeremiah) Tammelin and Matthew and Alissa Goodwin. He is also survived by his beloved great grandchildren, Ashley, Coltin, Kadi, Ariel and another great granddaughter due on February 1st.   Graveside services to be held at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery will be delayed until spring. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fred's memory may be made to the March of Dimes.
