Frank Alfred Leonardo, 70, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018. He was born in Ithaca, NY on January 15, 1948, the son of the late Anthony Leonardo and Clara Orzino Leonardo.
Frank is survived by his brothers and sisters, Anthony [Judy) Leonardo, Sharon (Jim) Johnson, Richard (Linda) Leonardo , Marylee (Richard) Park, Joseph Leonardo , and Clara (Stanley) Root . He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Frank was a retired laborer and had worked for various local contractors. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Ithaca Eagles Club. Frank was always willing to help out his neighbors at Nate’s Floral Estates where he resided.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Augustine Chumo on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10 am at the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery. Prior to the mass the family will receive friends at the church beginning at 9 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Fund or for Frank’s love of children to Cops Kids and Toys.
