Francis "Frank" L. Rogan

Frank Rogan of Ithaca passed away from complications due to surgery on Friday Sept 14th, 2018 at Upstate Medical Center surrounded by family and loved ones. Born July 30th 1959, Frank was a lifetime Ithaca resident and businessman who was the founder or partner in numerous area restaurants such as Rogan’s Corner, Franco’s Restaurant & Catering, Northeast Pizza, Mahogany Grille and the Sunset Grille. He touched so many lives by his kindness, generosity and beautiful spirit. One of Frank’s greatest passions was helping those in need. He was often referred to as the “keeper of lost souls”.

Frank was predeceased by his loving mother Julie and is survived by his father, James Rogan (Kathleen Hall), his two sons: Joseph Rogan (Erica) and Maxwell Rogan, his two sisters: Louann Rogan Hook (Edward) and Tracy Rogan Pinney and long time friend Lori Christiantelli.

A celebration of Frank’s life will be held Sunday September 30th from 3-6 pm at The lakewatch Inn on E. Shore Drive in Ithaca. All who knew Frank are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s name can be sent to the Tompkins County SPCA.
