Ella Louise Slaght Conover

Ella Louise Slaght Conover, 83, a life time resident of Trumansburg, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Beechtree Care Center. She was born in Ithaca November 09, 1931, daughter of the late Perley and Alice Nash Slaght and was the widow of Ernest Conover. She was also predeceased by her brother, Charles Slaght.

Ella is survived by her sister, Mary Jane (Robert) Harding; her brother, Stephen (Mary) Slaght; nephew, Charles (Kristine) Slaght and nieces, Lori Slaght Rogers, Susan Slaght (Mikel) Cary and Kimberly Slaght Lieb. She is also survived by six grandnieces and nephews and six great grandnieces and nephews.

In keeping with Ella's wishes, no public services will be held. Private burial in Enfield Center Cemetery will be delayed until spring. Memorial donations may be made to the Tompkins County SPCA. Bangs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
