Douglas Leigh Hilker

Douglas Leigh Hilker, 53, of Ithaca, New York Passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 4, 2018. He was predeceased by his mother, Beth Hilker and brother, Keith Hilker.

Doug is survived by his father Henry E. Hilker, sister and brother-in-law Noreen and Doug von Borstel, two nephews, Jeremiah and Luke and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Doug was a genuine lover of people and animals.......even insects.

His tender heart would go out of his way to save any friend, animal or critter that was in need to the best of his ability. He also loved to cook and could create a meal that was delicious no matter what ingredients he had on hand. His soft heart and warm smile will be truly missed.

Family and friends are welcome to attend his Funeral service which will be held Saturday, February 17th, 2018 from 11:00am-12:00pm at Bangs Funeral Home .
