Donna K. Dunn, 76, of Ithaca, passed away Wednesday, February 19th at Kendal of Ithaca. Donna was born on July 10th, 1937 in Waterloo, NY and had a long and rewarding career as a elementary school teacher on Long Island, and in Cheektowaga, Potsdam and Corning, NY. In her retirement, she enjoyed volunteering and traveling. Donna returned to her Finger Lakes home in June of last year to be closer to family. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Frank; and is survived by two sons, Geoffrey A. of Dryden, NY and David J. (Christine) of Fort Mill, SC; a granddaughter, Samantha; a brother, Peter of Orlando, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in June in Sarasota, FL.
