Donald William Lowe

Donald William Lowe, 67, of Hillcrest Rd., died Thursday, October 16, 2014. He was born in Ft. Collins, CO, son of the late Carl and Cleo Crane Lowe.

Don was a graduate of Ithaca High School and Cornell University. He had been a membership representative of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for 19 years. He was a combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and had authored a book about his tour. He was also a respected watercolor painter.
Don is survived by his sister, Ellen Jane Potash (David) of Nashville, TN and his love and companion of many years, Roberta Woodman.

In keeping with Don's wishes there will be no public services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America, vva.org. "Never again will one generation of veterans abandon another." Bangs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
