Debbie Jones Sladich

Debbie L. Sladich, 61 of Ithaca, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on Saturday, March 11, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents, Grant and Edna "Betty" Jones and sisters, Jacqueline (Tom) Roskelly, Penny (Elbert) Wester, Judy (Danny) Baker and brother Grant "Biff"(Sandy) Jones.

She is survived by her husband John and daughters Carrie and Amy Sladich and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her granddaughters Bianca Lopez and Kaelyn Bevis who she loved so dearly.

Debbie had a tremendous love for life and her courage and strength was an inspiration to many people. She loved to travel and could be found on the golf course at Hillendale during the season.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Resource Center of Ithaca, 612 W. State St., Ithaca, NY 14850. There will be a Memorial Service at the Eagles Club in Ithaca on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 2pm, followed by a Celebration of Life from 3pm to 5pm. Bangs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
