David Cortright

David Cortright, 62, of 230 Snyder Hill Rd, Ithaca died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at his home. He was born in Ithaca son of the late Earl and Sally Snow Cortright.

David was the owner of Cortright Electric and was a life member of the American Motorcyclist Association. He was an avid life long fan of motorsports, especially motorcycles which he shared with many of his longtime friends. This gentle giant was known for his love of good food and he loved to be with his family and friends. His outgoing and warm personality made everyone feel welcome.

David is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ginger Tomassini and his daughter, Christina Tomassini. He is also survived by his brother in law, John Williams; sister in law, Patti Martinez; nephews Brad Cortright, Cory, Zach, and Dylan Williams; Allan and Robert Higgins; niece Shelby Willams and numerous other family members. In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by his sister, Lori Cortright.

Calling hours will be Monday, July 9th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Bangs Funeral Home. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be announced. Dave’s family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory be made to the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation or to the charity of one’s choice.
