David S. Corey

David Scott Corey, 61 of Ithaca, NY passed away unexpectedly Monday March 8th at home. He was born August 17th 1960 in Troy PA to the late George and Clarice Corey. He is survived by his two daughters, Julie (Kevin) Quigley and Vanesa (Maggie) Corey, grandchildren, Austin and Carson, as well as his brother, Michael Corey and sister, JoEllen (Andy) Gruver, and his four nieces and one nephew.

David was a proud employee of Borg Warner for 29 years. When he wasn’t working he was reading non-fiction war books or watching the history channel, sometimes rewatching over and over. He was always rooting for the underdog and was a big Buffalo Bills fan. When he wanted an escape from the norm he would travel back to his hometown in Troy, PA where he had his lake cabin on Sugar Branch Lake. This is where many happy memories were made.
