Daniel John Rogozinski

Daniel John Rogozinski, age 66, passed away peacefully August 31, 2018 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center from complications of Multiple Sclerosis. Dan was born and lived the majority of his life in Detroit before moving to New York State where he lived in Elmira, Corning and most recently Ithaca NY. He was predeceased by his Father, Walter J. Rogozinski in 2003. Dan is survived by his mother, Frances M. Rogozinski, his sister Sandra (Jon) Bauer, niece Kathryn (Billy) Gooshaw, nephew Bret Bauer, grand-nephews Mitchum and Bryce Gooshaw all of New York, and an aunt and cousins in Michigan. Dan earned a Masters’ degree in Social Work from Wayne State University in Detroit and retired from the Archdiocese of Detroit where he was well known for his pastoral music. There will be no calling hours at Dan’s request. A private memorial service will be held at a later date in New York.
