Constance M. (Kennah) Shippos passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 23, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 92. She was the widow of William J. Shippos, Sr. Connie and Bill had been married for 55 years.
Connie was a lifelong resident of Ithaca, a graduate of Ithaca High and was retired from the Ithaca Police Department.
Connie is survived by her sons, William J. Shippos, Jr. and Richard R. Shippos; her grandchildren, Brian (Amy) Shippos, and Selene (William) Kuhns; her great grandchildren, Caleb and Hailey Kuhns and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Connie was also predeceased by her mother, Gladys (Kennah) Bentz; her infant son, John and her grandson, James E. Shippos.
Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services which will be celebrated by Fr. Augustine Chumo on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 10 am at the Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
