Conor Patrick Greenwood

Conor Greenwood, 25, of Ithaca passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017, after a tragic car accident.

Conor was a wonderful young man, who had many friends and relatives who loved him dearly. He is survived by his Father, Arthur Greenwood, Aunts Patricia Wolf (Doug), Kristal Ozmun, Uncle John Ozmun (Connie) Cousins Alan Greenwood (Jan), and Denise Odell (Ray). Conor was predeceased by his mother, Debra Greenwood, his Grandparents Gloria Ozmun and Jack Ozmun, Margaret and Charles Greenwood, and his Uncle Alan Greenwood.

Conor was a giving, loving young man who was taken from us way before his time. Conor was a 2009 graduate of Ithaca High School and obtained a two-year degree from TC3. Conor was a long-time employee at Target and worked at CVS and the Yankee Candle. Conor made numerous and lasting relationships wherever he went. He was a shoulder to cry on when needed and a jokester when a laugh was needed (or not). Conor also had numerous four-legged friends over the years. Please appreciate what you have, because when it is gone, you cannot get it back.

A celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Club, 711 W. Clinton St., Ithaca, NY on Sunday January 29, 2017 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Conor's memory to the SPCA, 1640 Hanshaw Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850, or any other animal charity of your choice.
