Colleen was a strong, caring, loving, beautiful soul. She was always willing to help anyone she could, whether it was baking a cake to cheer someone up, or a batch of her amazing chocolate chip cookies. She was an extremely giving person, you would never leave her home empty handed whether it was a Knick-knack or a plate of food. She loved cooking for her family and friends and working in her garden or drinking coffee on her porch with her family and friends watching her hummingbirds. Colleen was loved by so many dear friends and family in her community. Colleen had a great impact on many people and their lives.

Colleen worked very hard in her life to provide for her and her son. She was very proud of being a nurse at a young age. She also was very proud to have worked at the Catholic rectory, cooking for the priest. She worked at Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority as a chef for 28 years. Cooking for her Girls was one of her fondest Memories.

Colleen is survived by her son, Joseph E Macali and her daughter-in-law, Carmel A Macali, who helped take care of her and were very special to her. Her grandson, Joseph R Macali was her best friend and took care of her. She loved him with all her heart! Her granddaughter, Crystal J Bell who also took care of her and had many trips to the doctors filled with love and laughter!

Her great granddaughter, Maddalynne J Bell, and great grandson, Theo J Bell, who were very special to her. Colleen is also survived by her brothers, Robert Mike Gee, Roland (June) Gee, Edward (Crista) Gee; beloved sister in law, Yolanda Elmo; and her beloved cat Remi also known as Kit-Kat; as well as nieces and great nephews and a great niece.
