Claudia Ann Chappell

Claudia Ann Chappell of Ithaca, NY was peacefully "promoted to glory" on October 19, 2013 at Cayuga Medical Center, surounded by loving family and friends. She is survived by one brother, Joel Benjamin Chappell (Dorothy) of Milford, NH and his four children and his three grandchildren. She is also survived by her long time friend and house mate, Melissa H. Gould and Melissa's daughter, Heather Gould and Heather's wife Heather Campbell, as well as several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, B. Coman and Virginia Boone Chappell and an infant brother, as well as her former husband, Raymond M. Rajala. She is also survived by several special and dear friends; Dorothy and Marian Ditzell from Trumansburg, Judy Crandall of Ithaca, and many dear friends at Saint Paul's UMC.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 12 Noon at St. Paul's UMC. Friends may call prior to the service beginning at 10 am. Donations in Claudia's memory may be made to the Cayuga Medical Center Auxiliary Dept. Arrangements are by the Bangs Funeral Home.
