Claude C. Phillips

Claude C. Phillips age 79 of Ithaca, NY passed peacefully on November 9th at Strong Memorial Hospital in the hands of his loving wife. Claude also known as “Sonny” was born in Ithaca on July 8, 1939, The son of Charles and Helen Phillips. He graduated from Ithaca High School in 1957. Claude served six years in the Navy, where he was honorably discharged. Claude worked as a tool and die maker most of his life. Claude was a school crossing guard for the Ithaca city school district in recent years.

He had a love for Dirt bike Racing, Hunting, Fishing, Motorcycles, Golfing, and Woodworking.

He was a devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather. Claude is survived by his wife Jane L. Phillips, His children Katherine (Duane) Gray, Douglas (Shari) Phillips, Mitzi Banner, Sarah (John) L-Habalou. His siblings Donna Dawes, Eileen (Gary) Coles and Dan Phillips. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren and one great - grandchild.

There will be no services or calling hours per his wishes.
