Clarence Warren Rumsey

Clarence W Rumsey Sr. "CW" of 320 Third St.,Ithaca died Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Cayuga Medical Center. He was born in Ithaca, son of the late Carlton and Lydia Smith Rumsey.

"CW" served with the United States Army during the Vietnam War and had worked as a machinist at Morse Chain for several years.

He is survived by his sons, Clarence W. Rumsey Jr. of Groton; and Alan Sovocool, his companion, Charlene Sovocool; sister, Candice Reneau of Texas and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of his life is being planned for the Spring to be held at the V.F.W. Burial with full Military Honors will also be held in the Spring.
