Christine Capalongo Wylde

Christine Capalongo Wylde, 30, died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Cayuga Medical Center. She was born May 4, 1985 in Ithaca, New York, daughter of Vincent Capalongo and Theresa Stewart Bosco.

Christine was a graduate of Ithaca High School in 2003 and Cornell University in 2008 on the Deans List with a degree in Biometrics and Statistics.

In addition to her loving parents she was also survived by her son, Luca Wylde; brothers, Anthony Capalongo, Hunter Rogers, Carmen Capalongo, and Colby Capalongo; her grandparents, Judith and Eugene Walczak and several aunts uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Anthony and Barbara Capalongo and her uncle, Anthony (Butch) Capalongo.

Her son Luca brought immense joy to her life. She was a natural with kids and had hoped to become a teacher. No one will ever forget her beautiful smile.

A celebration of Christine's life will be held Tuesday, November 03, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the V.F.W. 423 West State Street. Private burial will be held at the Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Christine's memory may be made to the Luca Vincent Wylde Trust c/o Greg Acquavella, Tompkins Trust Co., P.O. Box 460, Ithaca, NY 14851, or the Catholic Charities. Bangs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
