Cheryl L. Kleckner, 68, of West Danby Road., Newfield, passed away on Monday June 26, 2017 at the Cayuga Medical Center. She was born in Ithaca, Daughter of the late Guy and Elsie Perham White and widow of the late Kerry R Kleckner (March 7, 2013).
Cheryl loved traveling to the Outer Banks with her family and friends, also was an avid bird watcher, wood carver and gardener.
A loving and devoted Mother, Sister and Aunt. Cheryl is survived by her Daughter: Wendy (Don) Valentino, Son: Tim Kleckner, also Brother: Guy Robert (Ruthie) White, Sisters: Elsie Ray, Patricia (Michael) Mitchell and Marilyn (Dale) Rose, and many Nieces, Nephews and many dear close friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was also Pre Deceased by her Loving Sister: Betty Lou Poole.
A celebration of Cheryl's life will be held at a later date at the Outer Banks. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory made be made the the Food Bank of the Southern Tier, 388 Upper Oakwood Ave., Elmira, NY. www.foodbankst.org, or S.P.C.A. of Tompkins County. Bangs Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
