Charles R. Hulbert, 75 of Newfield
Died October 14, 2016 at the Hospicare Residence in Ithaca.
Charlie served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Oriskany (CV-34). He worked for The Town of Ithaca Highway Department. His family was very important to him and he was a very special and wonderful father, grandfather and husband. He was a friend to many and always greeted everyone with a warm smile. He is predeceased in death by his father Fredrick Burton Hulbert and his mother Gladys Mae Marshall Hulbert, along with several brothers and sisters. eHe Charlie is survived by his loving wife Dorothy F. Hulbert. Daughter Tina (Dan) Dinsmore, sons Todd (Mary) Hulbert, Thad (Dana) Hulbert and daughter Tonya Hulbert. Grand children Andrew, Michelle, Justin, Danielle, Kathryn, Emily, Abbey, Cierra, Benjamin, Hannah, Colten, Konner and Kamden , Addison and 3 great grand children. Also Sisters: Carol (Bob) Bradley, Marlene(Jim) Bower and Joy(Bill)Lewis Services will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 12:00 noon at the Danby Federated Church. Friends may call from 10:00 to 12:00 prior to the service. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations in Charlie’s memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
