O'Pray, Catherine Katie Catherine (Katie) O'Pray, age 80, of Uddingston Scotland UK died on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Cayuga Ridge after a lengthy illness.Katie was born on 6/25/1935 and is predeceased by her parents, Francis Peter Doran O'Pray and Mary Teresa McNally, brothers James and Francis O'Pray, daughter-in-law Helen O'Pray, nephews and nieces in Scotland. She is survived by two sisters, Maureen and Jane along with numerous nieces and nephews and sister-in-law Catherine O'Pray.
Katy was a nun in Scotland for years, but had to give it up for health reason. Katie immigrated to the United States in the late 60's deciding to live in the Ithaca area for the rest of her days. Her life's work was in caring for children and the elderly. In keeping with her wishes, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
