Carrie Lynn Goodrich

August 3, 1974 — January 20, 2024

Carrie Lynn Goodrich, 49, left this world on January 20, 2024, after a valiant four-year battle with glioblastoma. Survived by her beloved son, Tyler Spencer - Goodrich, and her devoted partner, Todd Smith, Carrie was a beacon of love and strength. As a passionate Nurse Practitioner, she dedicated herself to the well-being of her veteran patients, exemplifying resilience and compassion. Carrie's nurturing spirit extended beyond her profession; she was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Known for her adventurous soul, Carrie embraced life's joys with enthusiasm, always ready for a good time. Her travels were guided by the spirit of spontaneity, leaving cherished memories in every corner of the world she touched. Carrie wasn't just the life of the party; she was the embodiment of joy itself. Her determination and strong will inspired love and admiration from all fortunate enough to know her.

In the words of her favorite band Bon Jovi, Carrie embraced the sentiment, "I ain't going to live forever. I'm just going to live while I'm alive." Her life was a testament to this philosophy—living with boundless enthusiasm, facing challenges head-on, and savoring every moment. May we all be inspired by Carrie's vibrant spirit as we remember and celebrate the extraordinary life she lived.

A celebration of Carrie’s life will be held privately by her family. Memorial donations may be made in Carrie’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital ( http://fundraising.stjude.org/goto/Carrie_L_Goodrich )
