Carol Ann Troy, age 85 of Ithaca, NY passed away Monday, July 22, 2024 at her home.Born August 23, 1938 in Ithaca, she was the daughter of the late Si and Mary Havlik Magnus and wife of the late John Troy who died in 2018.
Carol enjoyed gardening, crafts, playing the slots and vacationing and cruising every year.
Carol is survived by her children, John Troy (Kimberly), David Troy, Stephen Troy (Deborah) and Marcella Troy (Matt Torchia); 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Olga, Jean and Connie; numerous nieces and nephews.
There are no formal services or calling hours. Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 from 5-7 pm at Mix Restaurant, 205 Old Elmira Rd., Ithaca, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Tompkins County SPCA, 1640 Hanshaw Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850.
