Camillo F. Bordoni Jr. (Bar), 87, Ithaca, NY, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Ithaca, son of the late Camillo and Nancy Feocco Bordoni. Bar was a graduate of Ithaca High School and spent 33 years with the Ithaca Fire Department. A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Bar is survived by his wife of 68 years, MaryEllen; his six children, Donald (Karen) Bordoni, Thomas (Mary) Bordoni, Deborah (Mark Voorhees) Bordoni, Julie (Robert) Poole, Timothy (Carol Sprague) Bordoni. James Bordoni: his eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Anna Nedrow and sister-in-law Aileen Ellis and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents Bar was predeceased by his sister Mary (Anthony) Centra; Ralph (Mary) Bordoni; grandson CPL Christopher Bordoni; daughter-in-law Lori Bordoni, and several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws. Dad’s warm- hearted love for his family knew no bounds and he taught us all that family is everything! His love and devotion for his wife and kids was never ending. Bar treasured time spent with all of us! He will be missed dearly by his longtime friends and golf family at Hillendale. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bar’s memory may be made to Ithaca Hospice at 172 E. King Rd., Ithaca, NY or to the American Cancer Society.
