Calvin B. Jump, 98, of Meadow Wood Terrace, Ithaca, NY, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016. He was born in Union Springs, NY, son of the late Floyd and Mabel Houghton Jump and was the widower of Lorena B. Jump who died in 2008.
Calvin had worked for Agway for 44 years and was the Northeast Regional Supervisor of Heating & Air Conditioning at the time of his retirement. He was a long time member of St. Paul's UMC and had volunteered at Loaves & Fishes and Meals on Wheels.
Calvin is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Robert and Lu Jump, Roger and Lorene Jump and Richard Jump and Carole Fisher; his grandchildren, Kelly (Jane), Brian, Brett, Brad (Jenny), Beth (Scott), Carter and Ian and his great grandchildren, Erin, Giovanna, Connor, Isabella, Dominic, Grace, Benjamin and Grady. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also predeceased by his sister, Helen Body.
Friends may call on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 4 to 6 pm at the Bangs Funeral Home. A private graveside will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery, Scipioville, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in Calvin's memory may be made to Loaves & Fishes, 210 N. Cayuga St., Ithaca, NY 14850.
