Brian M. Newby

Brian M. Newby, 35 of Ithaca, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday September 29, 2016. He was born in Ithaca, NY son of Larry and Karen Ostrander Newby who survive him.

In addition to his parents he is also survived by his son, Apollo R. Newby; his brothers, Aaron and Lance; sisters, Marissa and Amie; his niece, Italia and nephew, Braxton. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Brian's life will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at GIAC 301 W. Court St. Ithaca, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the already existing Apollo R. Newby Custodial Account for Education, checks can be made out to Apollo Newby and mailed in care of Paul Karakantas, 204 Buttermilk Lane, Ithaca, NY 14850. Bangs Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
